How is yoga therapy different from private yoga?Yoga Therapy differs from private yoga in the level of training of the teacher/therapist and that yoga therapy has two main components. Yoga Therapy: 1) 1000 hours of required training -- 5 times more than to become a yoga teacher 2) Assessment 3) Customized individual Home Practice Plan In Yoga Therapy, you set your own goal(s) for the yoga therapy outcome and create the positive changes in you. And your practice evolves with you to manifest the goal(s).

What are package offerings for hiroko yoga therapy?Packages of six separate sessions are available at a discounted rate. Yoga therapy is about achieving your goals through creating own regular practice. This may include breath, movement, meditation, and establishing of new lifestyle practices. Having a commitment of six sessions is recommended to help achieve them. Private yoga is about regularly practicing yoga with the teacher, and having a commitment of six sessions helps to attain the healthy exercise routine. Packages for six sessions is $625. For packages, two payments option is available: $313 up front before first session. Remaining $312 due before 4th session.

How long is each session?Each session lasts 60 minutes.

What does the first session of yoga therapy look like?First session is 90 minutes. We will review together the intake form and set your goal(s), complete an assessment, and have a short yoga practice custom to your needs. You will go home with a customized daily home practice, that you explored with the therapist in the session.
